Responsible for driving company wide procurement results around the supplier diversity initiative. This included communicating the strategy to U.S. WEST Officers, Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) suppliers, non-M/WBE suppliers and industry colleagues. Worked with prime (non-M/WBE) suppliers to implement M/WBE subcontracting plans with a goal no less than 10% of the total contract amount. Serviced as lead U.S. WEST interface to Weyerhaeuser regarding Regulatory/Public Policy issues. Served as Weyerhaeuser’s customer advocate all U.S. WEST departments and executive team. Directly responsible for service level provisioning and results. Primary responsibility for all of the administration functions of the account team including reports, procedures, internal staff meetings. Developed and maintained a cohesive relationship with other associated departments such as N&TS, Public Policy, Product Management, Market Management.
